On Wednesday July 12th 2017, Ambassador Ruben Caro, Argentine Special Envoy to promote Argentina`s candidature to become the Organizing Headquarters for the International Exposition 2030 visited Saint Lucia. 

Ambassador Caro accompanied by the resident ambassador of the Argentine Republic in Saint Lucia H.E. Luis Beltrán Martínez Thomas paid courtesy calls on Dr. Allison Gadjadar - Permanent Secretary within the Department of External Affairs, Hon. Dominic Fedee - Minister with responsibility for Tourism, Information and Broadcasting and H.E. Ambassador Anthony Severin - Head of International Relations with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
