On Friday 17th November 2017, the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Saint Lucia collaborating with corporate sponsors Bay Gardens Hotel, BARBAY Limited by St Lucian Distillers, UNWines by CPJ St Lucia Ltd, La Cantina Wines by CasaLucia and PCD Experiences by Peter and Company Distributors held the first ever "Argentine Wine Tasting Event".

The event was held in the Bougainvillea Conference Room and was attended by hoteliers, restauranteurs, sommoliers, wholesalers and retail supermarket personnel along with members of the local press. 

The Wine Tasting was the first of many future initiatives by the Argentine Embassy in Saint Lucia to expose to the Saint Lucian public the wide variety and excellent quality of wines from Argentine currently available to the Saint Lucian public.
