A delegation of experts from the Ministry of Tourism of the Argentine Republic visited Saint Lucia between November 26 - 29.
During their stay, the delegation held meetings with authorities from the Ministry of Tourism, Heritage and Creative Industries, to assess the current state of the bilateral cooperation partnership in the field of tourism, and discuss possibilities of new cooperation projects, such as organizing a nautical event between both countries.
Members of the Argentine delegation also offered a presentation for online training programs to stakeholders of the tourist and maritime sectors. Representatives from the St. Lucia Tourist Board, IGY Rodney Bay Marina, Invest St. Lucia and the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association all participated in the Seminar, which was held in the Conference Room of the Department of Planning and National Development. The online courses include training in Online Marketing, Environmental Management and Quality in Tourist Service Management.
The cooperation mission from the Argentine Ministry of Tourism was carried out within the framework of the FO.AR Project "Exchange of Experiences in Nautical Tourism - 4th stage" , financed by the Argentine Fund of South-South and Triangular Cooperation (FO.AR).
